Re: (ASCEND) Inverse Multiplexer?

Ascend is the leading provider of bit-level (AIM & BONDING protocols)
inverse muxes, primarily used for dial-up H.320 video conferencing as well
as for data backup and overflow applications. The Ascend Multiband
products can IMUX up to 2 T1/E1/PRI's worth of DS0's or B channels and
deliver this to a sync serial port. Check out our web page at
http://www.ascend.com/227.html for more info on the Multiband.

The Pipeline and standard MAX units perform packet level inverse muxing
using MP,MP+,BACP protocols.
