Re: (ASCEND) Overheating Maxen?
Not to be asking an obvious question, but why was everything working okay
under 5.0Ap48?
Seriously, we have this same configuration on our other 3 MAXen and only
the one with the 56K modems has been giving us trouble (A software bug in
6.1.7 that causes ethernet to stop responding, a la FE 1001s, 1006s, and
1007s).
Granted, the other 3 MAXen have S/Ns of 639xxxx, 652xxxx, and 652xxxx.
I wouldn't be surprised if our problem was always there but compounded by
the installation of 6.1.7 (perhaps it overtaxes our 529xxxx series MAX)
and/or the fact that our usage peaks we have been higher than usual
lately.
It could also be that this unit has been slowly failing for a long time
and is now getting worse.
