Re: (ASCEND) 6.1.7 and dropped connections
We had similar problems with the SupraMax specifically. The supramax is
capable of doing 56flex and v.90. We didn't have a disconnect problem they
just weren't able to connect at all. We went into the connection properties
on the DUN connection and went to advanced and put +ms=k56 in extra
settings. This forces the modem to run 56flex instead of v.90 and all of
the Supramax users went back to working as they did before the upgrade. As
we upgrade our 4048's in the future we will go back to these customers and
have them take this extra setting out and see how it works.
