RE: (ASCEND) Pipe 75 second channel won't add

Assuming your P75 hasn't changed state, I suggest you call your ISP
right away. I've had similar experiences (they seem to happen about
once a year, far enough apart to require written notes) and things seem
to normalize more quickly for me if I talk to the guy who actually
maintains the machine. When my ISP switched from Ascend to Livingston,
they were kind enough to give me the configuration changes for my
P75--but it turned out I needed to find the right Ascend software
revision (in my case 6.0.6) before DBA would work right.

Good luck.

Subject: (ASCEND) Pipe 75 second channel won't add

Just recently, my pipe 75 has started not to add the second B
channel unless set my base channel count to 2. Then of course both
channels will connect (after a reset), but then the second channel
will never drop. I'm pretty sure my ISP is using a MAX of some
sort, but haven't been able to chisel that info out of them
yet. My thoughts are that the MAX settings for Add Pers /Sub
Pers/Idle Pct are set to something different on the MAX and that
some how may be affecting me. Any help would be greatly
    appreciated.

    Thanks,
    MS
