(ASCEND) radius menus without ascend-menu-item

Ok, someone will probably shoot me for this question, but after searching
several dozen documents, I still don't have an answer.

Does anyone know if TAOS will accept the standard radius "menu"
attribute?  Does Ascend's version of radius support it?

After searching for the answer to these questions, I'm left with two
possibilities:

1) This attribute is not documented because it should be assumed that it
is supported.

2) This attribute is not documented because it is not supported.

3) I'm really stupid, and not looking in the right place :)

Unfortunately, we're still too small to have incoming lines strictly for
the sake of testing.  We have to do pretty much everything live.  And
while I would normally just give it a try, I would like to have at least a
clue as to weather I'm heading in the right direction or not.

Yes, I know about the `Ascend-Menu-Item' attribute, but I need this to
inter-operate with other access servers, and a propriatary solution is
unacceptable.
