Sorry to confuse. I was simply suggesting a method to prove that the
new "send name" is working. By changing "myname" to something else,
you know that the authentication is not using that value, but the
new "sendname". Of course you can set MyName to anything you like!

I know. My reply was to Jim's comments that he had not tried it.....I was
offering a simple way to "prove" the new feature is working.

I know for sure that it works in 6.1.5 and 6.1.7 - I didn't try it in earlier
versions, but I think I did see the mention that maybe it was broken in
the early 6.1.X releases.
