Me too. I've talked to a very helpful person at Ascend who keeps trying to
get people to call me about how this swap is going to happen, but so far
she's been unsuccessful.

This is an excellent opportunity for Ascend to do the right thing. A design
error was made. No problem; we're all human. It's how the fix gets
distributed that will really matter. The silence isn't encouraging.

Second that. Actually, I don't know if "crap" is the right word.
"Underengineered" might be better. My v1 card works fine, it's just running
out of processors. As far as I'm concerned, we were all sold HDLC cards
that supported a full T1 card. Then Ascend learned a few things, leading to
the design of the v2 card, which was what we were sold in the first place.
