You don't say which version of TAOS (the software on the Max 4000) you are
using.  This is useful information to provide whenever asking for help.

What type of authentication are you using?  Local Connection profiles or
an external authentication protocol like TACACS+ or RADIUS?

How do you have the terminal server configured (Ethernet>Mod Config>TServ
options...)?
