(ASCEND) Old Pipeline 75 and firmware

I have a pre-serial 722xxxx pipeline that I was using software 6.0.9 (b.p75).
I see that there is a 6.0.10 version on the ftp site bi.p75.

will this newer version work on my Pipeline 75?

What is the best version to use on a Pipeline75?
I've upgraded whenever new versions come out, although it seems like they
are stopping at 6.0.10 for the older P75.
