(ASCEND) AO/DI support (fwd)

I thought this was interesting considering the response
I got back from Kevin Smith in regards to my post to this list.
First is Kevin's response, then below is the response I got from
Ascend Tech support.

Hi,

Ascend is supporting "always on dynamic isdn" right now. However , because
the 4048 is a special bundled unit I dont think the software is supported
with the
4048 package. Check with your sales person or INFO@SUPPORT.COM

I noticed that there is an ISP here in the bay area
which is offering AO/DI. They say they are using ascend equipment.
I heard that there would be support for this in 7.X. What is
the situation on this? Is there a version for the max 4048 to
support AO/DI???? Any help here is greatly appriciated.

thanks
