(ASCEND) Max 6.1

Release 6.1.0 for the MAX family has been given to support. This release
contains the following:

New features:

Switched Frame Relay connections
Overlap receiving for the MAX and the MAX TNT
Defining private IP routes for RADIUS user profiles
R2 CLID processing added for Brazil, Argentina, and the Philippines 
Support for NTT’s CLID Service
 *  VT100 Interface Configuration of DNS Fallback
 *  L2TP tunnel authentication support through RADIUS 
 *  Layer 2 Tunnel Protocol (L2TP) feature additions
 *  Rockwell V.90 supported 
 *  PAD script support for Triple-X PAD 
 *  MAXDAX 



Corrections:

TR 2860    Fatal Error 18 on E1 card running R2. 
TR 2964    ATMP - No data sent by Foreign Agent 
TR 2998    MAX 1800: Nailed/MPP did not work across a serial WAN. 
TR 3012    SYSLOG at end-of-call was broken on the MAX.
TR 3066    Stacked MAX units did not refuse a second B channel. 
TR 3079    File transfer through Zmodem failed over X.25 network. 
TR 3088    Filters did not work for RADIUS-authenticated terminal-server
logins. 
TR 3103    Data filter caused modem card to reset. 
TR 3155    MAX ignored IGMP version 2 Leave message. 
TR 3185    Incoming calls hung and displayed an “r” state in the 10-100
window. 
TR 3193    Authentication failures caused the MAX to reboot with Fatal
Error 2. 
TR 3200    Acct Reset Timeout did not work. 
TR 3224    The MAX did not display the explicit century date. 
TR 3226    MAX resets - FE 29 - When Realm authentication request fails. 
TR 3238    Opening a disabled modem caused the MAX 4004 to reboot (FE1). 
TR 3328    With heavy traffic, the MAX 4000 would reboot with Fatal
Error 36. 
TR 3239    Specific malformed UDP packet caused Ascend units to reset. 
TR 3337    PPP Dialer caused unit to reset. 
TR 250131  An error occurred in the ISDN signalling sent by a MAX at a
call hangup.
TR 250219  MP filters did not work with RADIUS and dynamic IP
assignment. 
TR 250225  Second IP address sent out as source address. 
TR 250257  Silent mode did not work correctly. 
TR 250263  With IP Direct, Max did not accept packet size of 1500 with
an MTU of 1500. 
TR 1000012 Multicast submenu did not appear on the MAX 1800 and MAX
2000.
