(ASCEND) Merit radius 3.5.6 (Static IP problem)
Hi! I have a problem here.
I am running merit radius 3.5.6 on an ultrasparc solaris server. This
server authenticates our network customers with ISDN connection to us.
Therefore, they are assigned static IP addresses.
We have some network users who configure their Windows 95 or NT machine to
act as a router.( This "router" has an internal ISDN terminal adapter)
They can be authenticated successfully but they are not assigned the
correct static IP address. Therefore, they cannot go anywhere in the
internet.
If they configure their IP address into their TCP/IP properties for their
dial up adapter, they can be connected for a while but will be
disconnected immediately.
Did I forget to do anything in the configuration files for Merit radius?
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
NOTE: I don't have such problem if I use the version of
Livingston's radius (v.1.13) from Ascend ftp site
