It can be used for any MP connection - including modems.  Demand for which
is on the rise as Win95 and WinNT both include MP in DUN now.  And now
you have shipping products like Diamond's Shotgun MP modem.  Shotgun is
allows you to run MP with two modems on one unit, with DBA.  The also
sell a card which is two modems on ONE card that lets you do MP simply.
