(ASCEND) the MAX 6000

All,

Okay, I've read your comments on BGP 4, but what other aspects of the   
6000 interest/concern users?? Especially those already using MAX 4000 /   
TNT platforms.

The new 6000 uses TAOS 6.0 software, as well as existing MAX   
multi-processor slot cards. Processing is now up to 64MHz, while other   
improvements include 16MB shrd. DRAM, 32MB priv. DRAM, 2HiFn compression   
Pus, four channel DMA, 10/100 LAN skt, and 128 HDLC channels...

...production of the other chassis will stop in a few months time.

So is this a very positive step?
