(ASCEND) Ascend Max 40xx and v.90 [Q]
We just got a call from a USR vendor... saying that all of our MAX 40xx
dial-up equipment will probably have to have a hardware upgrade so that
they can support the new v.90 standard? Is this true?
Will the Ascend MAX 40xx be backward compatible for K56Flex users that call
into a MAX 40xx that has the new v.90 standard on it?
Supposedly, the x2 dial-up equipment that loads v.90 will have backwards
compatibility when they load the v.90 standard... so that x2 users won't
have to upgrade?
