(ASCEND) AppleTalk over IP?
Hello all,
Can someone show me how to configure a RADIUS profile to allow a Mac
client to use ARA over an IP session? And would I need to make any
changes on the MAX unit to allow such a profile? We already have ARA
enabled and many of our Mac clients require two profiles to satify their
dial-up needs. The ARA profiles look like:
## ARA ANALOG MODEM
user-ara Authentication-Type = ARA-DES, Password = "passwd",
NAS-Port-Type = Async
Framed-Protocol = Ascend-ARA,
Ascend-Send-Secret = "passwd",
Billing-Id = "310-pre-sufx",
Ascend-Client-Assign-DNS = DNS-Assign-Yes,
Ascend-Client-Primary-DNS = 1.2.3.4,
Ascend-Client-Secondary-DNS = 1.2.3.5,
Ascend-Idle-Limit = 900
The IP clients look like:
## PPP ANALOG MODEM
user-ppp Password = "passwd", NAS-Port-Type = Async
Service-Type = Framed,
Framed-IP-Address = 3.4.5.6,
Framed-IP-Netmask = 255.255.255.255,
Billing-Id = "310-pre-sufx",
Ascend-Client-Assign-DNS = DNS-Assign-Yes,
Ascend-Client-Primary-DNS = 1.2.3.4,
Ascend-Client-Secondary-DNS = 1.2.3.5,
Ascend-Idle-Limit = 900
It would be nice to allow our Mac clients to have one profile for both
protocols.
