Has MRTG been improved do do this query in a single SNMP get/response
packet exchange?

I think the version I have gets pairs of parameters (the "in" and the "out")
in the same request, but generates additional requests (i.e. additional
delay, additional bandwidth, and additional load) for expressions like
the above when they could be done in a single request PDU. Is this true?
