(ASCEND) Tracking data on Max's

Hi

We'd like to start tracking the source/destination of data coming through our 
max's around our networks.

With the Cisco's, you can do run ip accounting on a per interface - can 
something similar be done so that:

			IN		OUT		
10.0.0.1	 	1441M		5511M
10.0.0.2		12M		55M

...etc

can be done ?

We'd like to also be able to measure TYPE of data is in transit - ie: port 80 
count versus port 8080 count.

How can we do this ? If its at all possible with a MAX ?
