Not true actually. Ascend basically has me do this as a "full time"
job. Matt participates too at the request of management - though in
his case I think it was originally as you suggested. There are numerous
others too who have and do participate (check the archives).

I think you'll find from quite a few who *have* spoken here in the past,
that we do listen very well. I typically pass on such reports to various
levels of management.....the results are not always immediate; as with
the various changes that we have made over the years with the release
process and the types of release. (Does anyone remember the days when
all new releases contained both new features and bug-fixes. We changed
to the p-releases and i-releases, then more recently to the TAOS process).

Agreed, things could have gone much better, but we are doing the right
thing. My only wish was that more people could participate in the *official*
BETA testing....
