3Com modems? They happen to disconnect spontaneously (sp?)
and play handshaking for quite some minutes, if they're not
kicked and replaced. Hate 3Com or something like that.

Right now after we were plugging in our K56 cards many 28k8
modems are hanging (p=31, dcd detected, nothing more)...

Just hate modems. ,-)
