I use MacRADIUS and a Max4048. Carefully read your MacRADIUS documentation.
It has everything you need to set up an Ascend server. They have
pre-defined Ascend "dictionaries" that let you configure all the weird
Ascend extensions to RADIUS with simple clicks and inputs.

I believe it should work. Again, the MacRADIUS documentation is great and
should give you all the answers.
FWIW, MacRADIUS may be the *best* RADIUS implementation out there as far as
ease of use and configurability go, and it's rock-solid too. If you think
RADIUS is a pain to configure, especially when it comes making changes
across many users, you should seriously give MacRADIUS a look.
