If they are in Windows 95 or NT, doing PPP access, you want to set the I-Modem for PPP mode. I use this on ours, in the "extra settings" in Windows95's modems control panel: *V2=5 Goes like a nutter for me, connecting to MAX 4000 with 50Ap16/24 (load eim.m40 or eik.m40).
