RE: (ASCEND) Using Max V35 interface

I'm trying something simular with a MAX1800, I'm bringing up a nailed T1
link to augment the BRIs. Acording to Ascend Techsup all that is
required is in the connection profile change the call type to nailed and
change the group number to the same as the serial wan, the default is
64. The CSU takes care of all the special stuff.

Make sure that the V35 option is installed, I was told by Ascend that on
later MAXes it an extra option.

Be warned, getting the correct cable is the tricky part. We specifically
asked for a cable to connect the MAX1800 to an Adtran TSU well after a
wekk of not working and a day on the phone with Ascend Tech Sup we are
told we have the wrong cable.

I'm yet to get this link but (still waiting on the correct cable).
