(ASCEND) SNMP and P75.
I have spent some time looking at the SNMP documentation today. I'd like
to know if it would be possible to use an incoming SNMP trap message to do
a Caller-ID type display for incoming calls on a PC?
If so, would it require a two step process? (the P75 tells me there is an
incoming call, I go ask for the clling party on the most recent calling
activity) Is it possible for it to be a one step process? (The P75 tells
me that there is an incoming call, the calling party, and the called party
in one message.)
I'm sure that I've asked similar questions before, but have never received
an answer. I'm not that knowledgable on SNMP, but it seems that at least
the first version should be possible. since my 1 year old P75 is never
going to do CallerID on a regular CallerID phone, I'd love to be able to
do it on my computer screen.
