They don't get as Hot as before, With the additional fan and the improved
engineering of the K56 Modem cards it is an improvement. Do they run as
cool as the PM3? NO.

True, Have you ever read the data sheet on a Max 4004? The operating
temps spec'd out by Ascend? Here they are:
Operating Requirements : Temperature 32-104 F. {0-40C}
Can you imagine having a fully loaded max run in a room w/ 100.F intake
air, I hope you have halon.
