(ASCEND) K56Flex 8 Cards....

I've just had an odd thing happen...

We have various Maxen here, some 4004 and some 4000.   The 4004's have
K56Flex 12 cards, and the 4000's have K56Flex 8 Cards (MX-SL-8MOD-S56).

We've installed patch 50Ap11 on the 4004 (with the 12s) and it upgraded
the K56Flex's perfectly.

We used the same load (tik.m40) on the 4000 with the 8's, and they weren't
recognized.

I've bounced around between p16, p8, p9, etc... but I can't seem to get
the 8's to be recognized at all. 

I'm completely uncertain what I'm doing wrong, if anything.

If anybody has had this happen I would appreciate knowing how you fixed it
