Re: (ASCEND) Zoom 1.002A code
Um, yeah, but all the 56k modems I've tested that
have the .5XX firmware led to unstable and irratic
connections. I would get frequently disconnected with
my Zoom external when I was running the .519 firmware.
When I flashed it up to 1.002A it ran like a champ (I'm
using it now as a matter of fact, connected at 48k and
have been so for the last two hours). Before I could
hardly stay on for 15 minutes before getting disconnected.
Also, prior to the new INF file and the new firmware,
my connections averaged in the 40-42k range.
I was simply trying to relate that performance is better
than before. There's no need for you to be such a smart-ass.
