Maybe I'm not following something here but we have many Max 4048 with
5.0Ap16 and they too have that nice little v.8bis tone.  Yet you make it
sound like only the *new* 1.1 code in 5.0Ap20 has that.

Last I heard was that the tone was a little different in 5.0Ap20 not that
it has suddenly apeared.

What gives? :)
