Re: OSPF bugs (was Re: (ASCEND) 5.0Ap20 for MAX products)

I would think that it's probably because OSPF can be so processor
intensive. What kind of a processor impact do the modem cards make on the
Maxen? Mod-12 cards and OSPF would seem to be the kiss of death for the
Maxen. When is there going to be some sort of cpu utilization meter on
these things?

My problems are with ospf dying on one of our maxen usually after seeing
this:

WARNING: Index: 204 Load: tbi.m40 Revision: 5.0Ap16
        Date: 08/25/1997. Time: 08:00:21
        Location: b017c168 b01917b8 b0191bb8 b018fc38 b017c358 b0088b48

Then, the cisco's on my network no longer see ospf updates from that max
and a reboot is required. This is on a Max4000 with Mod8 cards running
5.0Ap16 tbi.m40.

If the mod-12 56k cards have processors on them, do people with them still
see the same problems with ospf?
