(ASCEND) P75: Can connection profiles have different MyNames?
I'm trying to configure my P75 to connect to my ISP and my company's
private network. I'm trying to do this by creating two connection
profiles along with static routes that will open the appropriate
connection based on the destination IP address. I'm running P75
software version 5.0B using NAT. I am authenticating with the ISP and
corporate network using PAP.
My question is rather basic, yet it has me quite stumped. When opening
a connection, the P75 appears to use the Configure->MyName parameter as
the name it sends to the RAS (in one case a MAX, in the other case a USR
Total Control) followed by the
Ethernet->Connections->EncapsOptions->SendPW parameter. If I have
different login IDs for each connection, where the heck do you put this
in the P75? All the right information (password, dial #, etc) appears
to be associated with the connection profile except the login name.
What am I missing here?
