Jason,

Unfortunately, this type of connection is typical of the new code.  We
are now currently trying to come up with a solution to the slower
connect speeds but have yet to find one.  Since this type of connection
has become more common, we have taken the flasher off the web site.  

If you cannot bear the slower connections, let me know and we may be
able to flash your modem back to the previous rom code.
