(ASCEND) New Result Code c=185 after upgrading to 5.0Ap16

Hi all,

After upgrading to 5.0Ap16 on our MAXen 4000's we have noticed a large
number
of users that after connecting do not have any of their traffic routed.
e.g. ping gives good old 'Request timed out'.

The only thing that appears to be common with all these calls is that
the Ascend syslog shows c=185, p=60.

Now, I know that c=185 means 'Remote end hung up' and that p=60 means
'LAN session up' and that that indicates what would appear to be a
fairly normal call, but under 4.6C (which we upgraded from) this c=185
never appeared in the logs therefore there must be a new reason for
wanting to distinguish this type of connection/disconnection.

Can anyone be more specific about the c=185 or about why these calls are
not having their PPP packets routed?

TIA
