(ASCEND) RADIUS that restricts number of sessions - get it here...
If you're looking for a RADIUS that restricts the number of sessions, and
does a WHOLE lot more than you'd expect, get the esva.net radius.
get it at ftp://server.esva.net/pub or at ftp://ftp.digistar.com/pub/stuph
Be sure to modify your dictionary before using it or you'll have a mess on
your hands.
These are the differences to the ascend dictionary that have to be made:
ATTRIBUTE Sessions 25 integer
ATTRIBUTE Session-Timeout 27 integer
ATTRIBUTE Acct-Session-Id 44 string
ATTRIBUTE Acct-Session-Time 46 integer
VALUE Acct-Terminate-Cause Session-Timeout 5
I commented out the "Class" attribute that exists in the ascend
dictionary. I don't know what it does, but I don't really care :)
I put VALUE Acct-Terminate-Cause Session-Timeout 5 near the end of my
dictionary.
Or you can cheat and just get the one i'm using now,
ascend-esva-dictionary in the /pub/stuph directory.
One side note, if you make changes to the dictionary, be sure to kill off
the running radiusd and restart. You can make changes to the users file
on the fly but the dictionary file is read only once that I can tell.
Regards,
Jason.
