(ASCEND) Caller ID prob with new P75

I have one of the 5.0B P75's and tried testing the analog port
caller id feature that it supports. So far it works with just one of
the 3 Caller ID boxes I've tried.

I think the problem may be timestamps. On the one it works with
the calling number shows, but without a timestamp. On the two
it doesn't work with, I get an error condition from the caller id
box reflecting a data error. My guess is that when they don't
get a timestamp they give up on the call.

All of the boxes have a clock display, but depend on setting the
clock from the first incoming call. This never happens.

My conjecture is that the P75 doesn't get a timestamp in the ISDN call
setup message from the switch to pass on. Also since its own clock
is not settable, they chose not to synthesize a time stamp from its
time since boot clock.

An unrelated caller id issue, is the extended caller id information
that identifies the name of the caller. I know my provider (BellSouth)
doesn't offer this over ISDN, so its no surprise I don't get it.

Do other providers offer it, and if so would the P75 extract it and
send it to the caller id box?
