I'm new to the list and to Ascend products, so please forgive me if this question has already been discussed in detail. I just bought a P75 which I will use to connect my home LAN to my ISP and my company's network using "single address NAT". The P75 is one of the newer units (serial # > 722xxxx) running software version 5.0B. The document titled "Pipeline Cumulative Release Notes 5.0Ai" descibes the exact functionality I need, however, the functionality described by these release notes does not appear to be in my P75. The version numbering would imply that 5.0B is more current that 5.0A, but I'm beginning to wonder whether some functionality from earlier incremental releases did not make it into 5.0B. I guess my questions boil down to: 1. Am I right that 5.0B doesn't contain the single address NAT funtionality from the 5.0Ai16 release? 2. If the answer to #1 is yes, does anyone know when this capability will be added to 5.0B, or whether there is a short-term workaround? BTW, the release notes that came with the P75 say I cannot load a version of software older than 5.0B. Thanks in advance for any help. -- Mark Hilbush Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler. -- Albert Einstein
