Re: (ASCEND) 56K cards




Which reminds me..

Anyone had any success getting a Motorola 56K ModemSurfr to connect to an
Ascend Max?  The main one I've been trying this one with is Motorola's 56K
test phone number and it just gives garbage after connecting unless I
force it into V.34 mode.

The modem data is:

ati3: V0.516-K56_DLS
ati4: Motorola ModemSURFR 56K External
ati6: RCV56DPF L8570A Rev 13.1/13.1

Does it need to be upgraded to a newer version of the K56Flex code to get
it to work with a Max?  I don't see mention of any such upgrades on
Motorola's web site though.
