RE: (ASCEND) Net Medic and My Max 4K

NetMedic is a beautifully written and superb product that demonstrates
what a fabulously formatted and extraordinary cool user interface can
look like. All this while at the same time producing truly meaningless
and completely inaccurate results based heavily on the BS barometer
protocol. (RFC9999).

I was able to get this POS to "condition red" about my "egress router"
at 4AM from a PC connected to a core 7513 RSP4 with 3 T3's to the net.
The router was running at about 8% CPU at the time and as you well know,
at 4:00AM, the Net in general is usually a fine place to be. :-)

Oh ya, my PC also had "CPU starvation" or some-such when the screen
saver kicked in. I did mail myself the message that it produced to
remind me in the future to remember not to do anything on my PC that I
need to look at when the screen-saver is running. <g>
