Hi Kevin -

We monitor our connection stats continuously - we have put 56k cards in
one Max, running the ek build at p13.

This Max has a connection failure rate of of 10.9%, compared to 6.4% on
our other Maxes with the older DM-12's.

Further, the 56k cards are nowhere near as good connecting to older modems
- - our other production Maxes have a ratio of 21%-23% 2400-14400bps
connections (approx 78%-80% 28k8 or above).

The 56k cards are 95% 28k8 or above, and only 4.1% 2400-14400.

I think we'll wait a bit for the code to settle down before we more widely
deploy the new cards because they'll cause too many helpdesk calls in the
current state.
