RE: (ASCEND) V.110 connect times




We have a difference depending on authentication method, both faster
than for V.34 users.

A Nokia 9000 with ATS35=0 to make it use ISDN calling a MAX 2000 5.0Ap16
with V.110 modem card:-

 Using a local profile, CLID authentication: 6 seconds from receiving
the call to LAN session up.
 Using a RADIUS profile, CLID authentication: 15 seconds until LAN
session up.

After many calls to Ascend help desk this strange behaviour has been
duplicated but not fixed. (I have not tried the Incremental tree or
anything older than V5.0Ap11)
