(ASCEND) FCM Release 1.0A
FCM Release 1.0A has been given to support. This is the first release
of FCM and is available on the FTP site under:
ftp://ftp.ascend.com/pub/Software-Releases/FCM/
FCM (Firewall Control Manager) allows sites to selectively
authorize entry to corporate networks via Secure Access Firewalls using a
Web-based interface and Ascend Access Control (or standard RADIUS). Typical
applications include selective access through Internet firewalls or
authentication of individual users behind Pipelines connected to a MAX.
FCM is included free with Access Control,
which can be used with other implementations of RADIUS. Current
Access Control and Secure Access customers can obtain instructions for free
upgrade and installation by visiting:

Requirements Secure Access (Version 5.0Ai19 or later)
Access Control (Version 1.0Ai7 or later)
An online demo is available which interactively demonstrates
the Firewall Authentication Manager. Point your browser to
http://wam.ascend.com
We have obtained a quantity of SecurID tokens which can be used with the
Firewall Authentication Manager demo. If you would like one of these
tokens, please send an email with your name, address and preferred username
to secure@ascend.com and we will mail you a demo kit.
