OK thanks.  I'd hoped that "server motherboard" meant it would take
ecc, but I think you are right. I have a new config:

I'm getting a micro atx case with 2 fans so hope it fits in that and
is strong enough.  I may add a spinning disk, but at first will just
have an ssd.

I found the motherboard first on Amazon and was having trouble
finding it directly on newegg. I had kind of given up on finding it,
but then I used https://duckduckgo.com and it found it on newegg.
It was over $20 cheaper on newegg than amazon so I was happy
that I'd not given up after that.
