Good point I ran into an issue with Mint/Maya I believe 2 years ago with the Nexuiz 'game' .. you might have the answers - again here Jeff. I', just wondering about your opinions. How can I test NTP cause it's no different via cable or dsl I know that for a for a fact.

Paul, your kernel/distro does not really matter. NTP is the Network Time Protocol. It's how computers sync clocks up.
