Before you spend any money, I might recommend the WikiBook on the topic. WikiBooks are freely available resources on many topics. Here's a link to the Sed WikiBook:  http://en.m.wikibooks.org/wiki/Sed
In addition, I've found this resource to be useful in learning Sed: http://www.grymoire.com/Unix/Sed.html
It's not a book exactly, but it has helped me locate a number of useful examples that allowed me to better explore the tool.
If you're looking for something more, the O'Reilly Guide to Awk and Sed seems to be well-reviewed, and may available at a bookseller near you.
