So you download and install the linux server… and run it natively? All video cameras are taxing on the hardware. You can’t get around it. My day job partially involves monitoring and maintaining the 10 recording servers for one of the top 10 districts in the state… 10 recorders. 1000 cameras. $500,000 in hardware. Worth every penny.
