Hey there everyone, I thought you guys might be interested in this free public workshop that I’m helping put on this Sunday. Please come join us and help spread the word to anyone else that might want to attend. While we welcome everyone to attend, even if they only bring pen a notepad to write notes, we greatly encourage attendees to bring their phones, tablets, and laptops along so we can help them install and use encrypted platforms and test the platforms out with the other attendees. To this end, anyone caught trying to exploit other attendees devices without their explicit consent will be asked to leave. August 30th is the date and The Hack Factory is the place. CryptopartyMN will be hosting our third cryptoparty from 1-5pm this Sunday. Our plan is to cover how to email, chat, and browse the web securely. We can also help you encrypt your hard drives and use tools to communicate securely with mobile devices. We have people familiar with Windows, Linux, OSX, Android, and iOS on hand to help you along the way. This is a BYOB event and we will also have a limited amount of free keg beer brewed here in Minneapolis for those who are 21+ with valid ID.
