Main decision is cable card or OTA (over the air) with antenna. If OTA, then also decide how many tuners, 1 or 2. I have not restored my MythTV setup since the server main drive crashed this past winter (data files are all fine) and my HDHR dual tuner has had little use since. Let me know if interested.
