Paul, you may not know this, but it's considered bad mailing list etiquette
(on this list and elsewhere) to hijack threads, which is what you did here.
You wanted to start a discussion about CUPS, which is *fine*, but instead
of composing a new email to start up the discussion, you replied to an
existing thread, and in doing so, "hijacked" the thread topic.

So, in the future, if you want to start a new discussion, just compose a
new email instead of replying to an existing thread.
