All of my electrical equipment (computers, DVD/Blue-Ray, TV, etc) are
plugged into either an APC SmartUPS with a battery for power conditioning.
Or, if they don't require that, an APC SurgeArrest.  They have wiring fault
indicators on them which is basically a ground test.
