TCLUG, I have some Ubuntu desktop machines...one at home and one at the office...that I use for backup of backup of files. Samba was setup using by editing the smb.conf. In the past this worked. Now it seems that any changes here don't have much effect. Seems I have to go to the file folders and activate the share with gui. Is there a lock out feature that desktops are gui only???
