i'm betting win7rdp (or "remote assistance" perhaps?) can be configured to admit an admin to interact with the logged-in desktop, even without requiring the logged-in user to approve, but i'm also betting installing ultravnc is far easier than any of that. if win7rdp/ra config easier than i think, do tell.
